About This Scholarship

The purpose of the AFSA Financial Aid Scholarships is to provide financial aid to university students who are the children or dependents of Foreign Service employees. Applicants must be dependents of U.S. government Foreign Service employees with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Students must attend or plan to attend full-time an undergraduate U.S. college, university, community college, art school, conservatory or other post-secondary institution. Applicants must submit applications, transcripts and financial need reports. Recipients must complete their undergraduate degree within four years and must demonstrate financial need.
