12 Business Scholarships (May 2024)

The purpose of the Starfleet Scholarships is to assist members of the International Star Trek Fan Association. Applicants must have been members of Starfleet for at least one year prior to applying and must be attending or planning to attend a community college, four-year college, technical school, junior college or graduate school. Awards are given in the categories of medicine, engineering, performing arts, international studies, business, science, education, writing, law enforcement and general studies.

The purpose of the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association Scholarship is to support students pursuing a higher education at a secondary, advanced or trade school with a focus on the sports flooring business. Applicants must be legal residents of the U.S. attending college in the United States. Students must write a 500-word essay and be studying in one of the following fields: architecture, athletic administration, athletics, boiler inspection training, biological conservation, bio-mechanical sciences, building construction, civil engineering, coaching, commercial driving schools, construction sciences or management, dance education, forest science, forestry studies, engineering technology, environmental resource management, exercise science, industrial technology schools, kinesiology, LEED training or certification, mechanic schools, mechanical drafting, machine technologies, natural resources / conservation, physical administration, physical education, physical rehabilitation or therapy, recreation and park administration, small engine repair schools, sports and fitness management, survey schools, trucking schools or wood sciences.

The purpose of the AX Control, Inc. Academic Scholarship is to encourage students interested in small business creation. Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time as an undergraduate at a college or university. An essay on a provided topic is required.

The purpose of the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship is to encourage women to enter the business field and become strong industry leaders in Coos Bay. Applicants must submit verification that they are enrolled in at least the second year of an accredited undergraduate program through the final year of a Master's program (excludes acceptance letters), maintain an outstanding academic performance (particularly in business classes) and provide clear evidence of their strong commitment to a business career.

The purpose of the Crystal Group Innovation Scholarship is to support undergraduate students majoring in business, engineering or a related major with college expenses. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited two- or four-year institution in the United States pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related program. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and completed at least 60 semester hours. An essay submission on a provided topic is required.

The purpose of the Lawn Love Creating Leaders Scholarship is to support students interested in being entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders of the future. Applicants must be a current full time students with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a passion for business. Students must submit a copy of their student ID, transcript and an essay on a provided prompt.

The purpose of the Marlene & Henry Bauer Scholarship is to support students in Chelan, Douglas or Okanogan County majoring in business. Applicants must be graduating seniors of a high school in Chelan, Douglas or Okanogan county or nontraditional students attending community college full-time student who are majoring in accounting, business, marketing, management or other business related field. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on the strength of the overall application.

The purpose of the Scholarship for Future Entrepreneurs is to support students who are interested in being entrepreneurs. Applicants must be high school graduates or GED holders without a bachelor’s degree. Students must be enrolled as at least a sophomore in a business program at a community college or a four-year college or university and currently taking classes towards the degree. An essay question on a provided prompt is required to be submitted.

The purpose of the Ted Rollins ECO Scholarship is to support students pursuing a major related to sustainability. Applicants must be either high school seniors or current undergraduate students planning to major in a field related to business, marketing or sustainability. Students must plan to take at least 10 credit hours during the upcoming fall semester. Applicants must write an essay on a topic assigned on the website.

The purpose of the TechChecks Business Leadership Scholarship is to reward students who have strong academic credentials and are pursuing a degree that emphasizes business or marketing. Applicants must be high school seniors or current college students pursuing a degree in business administration or another business-related field. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required. Students must be U.S. citizens and preference will be given to those who are female, have a disability or belong to one of the following minority groups: African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander or Native American/American Indian (must provide proof of membership to a tribe). Students must submit an essay on the topic provided. Essay selection will be based on the quality of research, originality and presentation.

The purpose of the Washington State Auto Dealers Association Bright Future Scholarship is to provide financial assistance for business majors. Applicants must be high school seniors enrolled in a Washington State public or private high school, or are home-schooled and reside in Washington State. Students must plan to use their scholarship within the 12 months following the award by enrolling in any public or private school, vocational institution, community college or four-year college or university.

The purpose of the Academic Scholarship is to support students interested in degrees related to the metals industry. Applicants must be freshmen, sophomores or juniors attending two- and four-year higher education institutions located in the United States, including community colleges, technical colleges or universities. Students can be pursuing any major but preference will be given towards those pursuing engineering or business degrees. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. An essay on a provided prompt is required to be submitted.
