The purpose of the American Library Association Century Scholarship is to support library students with disabilities. Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens with disabilities admitted to an ALA-accredited school studying for a master's or doctorate in library science. Students must provide medical documentation of their disability and services needed for their studies. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

The purpose of the Fellowship in Aerospace History is to provide funding for an academic research project related to aerospace history. Applicants must possess a doctorate degree in history or a related field or be enrolled in a doctorate program (all coursework completed). One fellow will be appointed for one academic year. The fellow will be expected to write a report and present a paper or lecture on the research at the end of the term.

The purpose of the Huntington Fellowships is to provide fellowships to doctoral students and recipients in British and American history, literature, art history and the history of science and medicine. The purpose of the Norman S. Baldwin Fishery Science Scholarship is to promote the study of Great Lakes fisheries. Applicants must be master's or doctoral students whose proposed research topic is relevant to Great Lakes fishery research. Students must submit an abstract of a proposed research project, curriculum vitae and letter of endorsement along with their application.

The purpose of the APF/ National Register Internship Travel Stipend Fund is to support applicants from doctoral programs in psychology to travel to APPIC listed internship sites for pre-selection interviews. Applicants must be from doctoral programs that are accredited by the American Psychological Association’s Commission on Accreditation (CoA) or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). Students must be traveling to a pre-selection interview for an Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) listed interview. Preference will be given to applicants who are traveling to interviews for internships with an emphasis on social justice or the training of psychologists as health service providers.

The purpose of the Elizabeth Munsterberg Koppitz Child Psychology Graduate Student Fellowship is to support graduate research projects in child psychology. Applicants must have completed doctoral candidacy at the time of application. Students must demonstrate research competence and area commitment.

The purpose of the ChiroHealthUSA Foxworth Family Scholarship is to support students studying chiropractic health. Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in a doctorate of chiropractic program at an accredited U.S. institution and hold a minimum 2.7 GPA. Students must provide two recommendations along with their application.

The purpose of the Amelia Earhart Fellowships is to support women in science and engineering. Applicants must be pursuing graduate PhD/doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering.

The purpose of the Rosemary Berkel Crisp Research Award is to award students interested in nursing research that focuses on women's health, oncology and pediatrics. Applicants must be a registered nurse with current license, a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and possess a master's or doctoral degree or be enrolled in a doctoral program. Students must be ready to begin research once funding is received and complete the project within a year of funding. Applications must be submitted online. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

The purpose of the Edilia and Francois-Auguste de Montequin Fellowship is to support graduate students with travel related to research in Spanish, Portugal or Ibero-American architecture. Applicants must be junior scholars working on doctoral dissertation research or senior scholars who've completed their Ph.D. programs or equivalent. Students must focus projects on Spanish, Portuguese or Ibero-American architecture, including colonial architecture produced by Spaniards in the Philippines. Applicants must be current SAH members.

The purpose of the H.M. Muffly Memorial Scholarship is to aid nursing students working towards bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees. Applicants must be Colorado residents who are planning to practice nursing in Colorado. They must be juniors or seniors working towards the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurses (RNs) pursuing the bachelor's degree or higher in a school of nursing; practicing RNs pursuing a doctoral degree in nursing or second- or third-year Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students. Undergraduates must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher, and graduate students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Selection is based on GPA, financial need, recommendations, community involvement and commitment to professional practice in Colorado.

The purpose of the International Teacher Education Scholarship Program is to assist international women teachers-in-training to complete their final year of training in the U.S. Applicants must be single women with no dependents, between 20 and 35 years of age. Eligibility is restricted to non-U.S. citizens living outside the U.S. Applicants must have received an undergraduate degree and be eligible to receive a master's degree. However, the program is not intended for doctoral students. Students must intend to enter the field of teaching or be engaged in the teaching profession.

The purpose of the AGU Congressional Science Fellowship is to support applicants who are interested in working in the House or Senate with the opportunity to assist members of the House and Senate for one year. Applicants must be members of the American Geophysical Union. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Applicants should have a strong background in science. Applicants should be strong communicators, articulate, flexible and able to work on a variety of public policy problems with people from diverse backgrounds. Applicants should have finished any doctoral work before the start of the fellowship due to time restraints during the program.

The purpose of the United Methodist General Scholarship is to support students who are members of a United Methodist Church. Applicants must be active, full members of a United Methodist Church for at least one year prior to applying, be admitted to a full-time degree program in an accredited college or university and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students must also be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students. Supporting documents are due by May 1.

The purpose of the Adelle and Erwin Tomash Fellowship in the History of Information Processing is to support a graduate student who is researching the history of computing. Applicants must be graduate students who have completed all doctoral degree requirements except the research and writing of the dissertation. Students must submit a curriculum vitae and a five-page statement and justification of the research program. To be eligible, scholars will reside outside the Twin Cities metropolitan region.

The purpose of the Academic Achievement Award is to recognize contributions to the field of public water supply. Master's theses and doctoral dissertations that are relevant to the water supply industry are eligible. Unbound manuscripts must be the work of a single author and be submitted during the competition year in which they were submitted for the degree. Students may major in any area as long as the research is directly related to the drinking water supply industry. In addition to the application, students must submit a one-page abstract of the manuscript and a letter of endorsement from the major professor or department chair. The doctoral dissertation awards are $3,000 and $1,500. The master's thesis awards are $3,000 and $1,500.

The purpose of the AFPE Pre-doctoral Fellowship in the Pharmaceutical Sciences is to support medical students pursuing a career in pharmaceutical sciences. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be enrolled full-time in a graduate Ph.D. program in pharmaceutical science.

The purpose of the NDSEG Fellowship Program is to award fellowships to those in science and engineering. Applicants must pursue a doctoral degree in an area of Department of Defense interest: aeronautical and astronautical engineering, biosciences, chemical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, cognitive, neural and behavioral sciences, computer and computational sciences, electrical engineering, geosciences, materials science and engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, naval architecture and ocean engineering, oceanography and physics. Applicants must have completed no more than one academic year of graduate study as a part-time or full-time student or be in their final year of undergraduate studies. The award is based on academic achievement, personal statements, recommendations and Graduate Record Examination scores. Fellowships may be used only at U.S. institutions of higher education offering doctoral degrees.

The purpose of the Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Curatorial Fellowship is to encourage students to receive training on scientific research and conservation practices. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in art history or archaeology and be in residence at the museum during the fellowship period. Fellowships are one year long and begin on September 1 of the year after application. All applicants must be Ph.D. candidates, postdoctoral researchers or senior scholars and must submit a specific research proposal that makes use of the museum’s collection. Fellowships are awarded based on funds and resource availability.

The purpose of the Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Advanced Studies is to support Japanese nationals pursuing a Ph.D. in macroeconomics and related fields. Applicants must be admitted to a school outside of Japan that has a strong doctoral program in macroeconomics and obtain a Ph.D. by age 34. This scholarship covers all reasonable expenses for two years of graduate study. Scholarship recipients must receive no other scholarships or earn income while receiving the scholarship. They are also expected to apply for employment with IMF upon completion of their degrees.

The purpose of the Henry Belin du Pont Dissertation Fellowship is to provide four-month fellowships for doctoral students performing dissertation research. Applicants must be doctoral students who have completed all course work and are performing dissertation research. Research topics should involve historical questions and should relate to the collections in the Hagley Library. Fellows will receive housing, office space, a computer and Internet access. A presentation is required at the end of the residence period.

The purpose of the New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship is to support graduate students and researchers who are studying communication sciences and disorders. Students applying for the scholarship must be enrolled in a research or teaching doctoral program to obtain a Ph.D. or its equivalent. Researchers applying for the grant must have teacher-investigator careers, either in an academic environment or in external research institutions.

The purpose of the Predoctoral Fellowship Program is to support advanced graduate research in the history, theory and criticism of art, architecture and urbanism. Applicants for predoctoral fellowships must be nominated by the chair of the graduate department of art history or other appropriate departments. Applicants must have completed all departmental requirements, including course work, residency and general and preliminary examinations. Certification in two languages other than English is required. Applicants should submit nomination forms, supporting letters from two individuals and writing samples. There are various fellowships. The David E. Finley Fellowship requires applicants have a significant interest in curatorial work. The Paul Mellon Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in Western art. The Samuel H. Kress Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in European art on a topic before the early nineteenth century. The Wyeth Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation that concerns aspects of art of the United States, including native and pre-Revolutionary America. The Ittleson Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in the visual arts in a field other than Western art. The Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in cross-cultural studies or in a field other than Western art through the twentieth century. The Robert H. and Clarice Smith Fellowship is for research on Northern European art between 1400 and 1700, intended for the advancement or completion of either a doctoral dissertation or a resulting publication. The Chester Dale Fellowships are for the advancement or completion of a doctoral dissertation in any area of Western art, with a preference for modern and contemporary topics. The Center offers a Paul Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship for recipients of the David E. Finley, Paul Mellon, Samuel H. Kress, Wyeth, Ittleson, Andrew W. Mellon and two-year Chester Dale fellowships if the dissertation has been accepted by June 1 of the residence year. Several candidates for each fellowship will be invited to Washington for interviews.

The purpose of the Thomas R. Camp Scholarship is to support students conducting applied research in the drinking water field. Applicants must pursue graduate degrees at an institution of higher education in Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Mexico or the U.S. This is awarded to doctoral students in even years and master's students in odd years. Applicants must submit applications, resumes, transcripts, GRE scores, three recommendation letters, statements and research plans. The award is based on academics and leadership.

The purpose of the Byron Hanke Fellowship is to support graduate students who are working on topics related to community associations. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited master's, doctoral or law program in the U.S. or Canada. Students must submit a research paper on community associations. Selection is primarily based on demonstration of research and writing abilities, academic achievement and faculty recommendations.
