The purpose of the Harold and Inge Marcus Scholarship is to aid industrial engineering students who are members of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE). Applicants must be undergraduate industrial engineering students who have been formally nominated for the award by their industrial engineering department heads. They must be full-time students who are active IIE members in good standing and must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.4 or higher on a four-point scale. Selection is based on academic achievement, integrity, financial need and potential contribution to the industrial engineering field.

The purpose of the Gladys Anderson Emerson Scholarship is to reward achievement in the fields of chemistry and biochemistry by women. Applicants must have attained junior status at an accredited college or university, be female and be nominated by a member of Iota Sigma Pi.

The purpose of the Marvin Mundel Memorial Scholarship is to assist undergraduate engineering students with an interest in work measurement and methods engineering. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a college in the United States, Canada or Mexico with an accredited industrial engineering program, major in industrial engineering and be active members. Students may not apply directly for this scholarship and must be nominated. The award is based on academic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the industrial engineering profession and financial need. Preference is given to students with a demonstrated interest in work measurement and methods engineering.

The purpose of the Robert B. Oliver ASNT Scholarship is to support students in nondestructive testing. Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in an engineering program and specialize in nondestructive testing (NDT). A nominating letter, transcript and an essay describing the role of NDT/NDE in their career are required. The award is based on creativity, content, format and readability and the student's involvement in a research project.

The purpose of the ASME Auxiliary Lucy and Charles W. E. Clarke Scholarship is to help FIRST Robotics team members who are interested in pursuing a career in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology. Applicants must be high school seniors who are FIRST Robotics team members. They must be nominated for the award by an ASME member, an ASME Auxiliary member or a student ASME member who is also involved with FIRST. Students must plan to enroll in an ABET-accredited or similarly accredited mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology degree program. They must be able to begin undergraduate studies no later than the fall following graduation from high school. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

The purpose of the Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship is to support students studying nondestructive testing. Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in an engineering program and specialize in nondestructive testing (NDT). A nominating letter, transcript, three letters of recommendation and an essay describing the role of NDT/NDE in their career are required.

Gambrell Undergraduate Scholarship is to help undergraduate industrial engineering students from the U.S. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students who have completed their freshman year in an accredited industrial engineering program, have a minimum 3.4 GPA, major in industrial engineering and be active members. Students may not apply directly for this scholarship and must be nominated. The award is based on academic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the industrial engineering profession and financial need.

The purpose of the A.O. Putnam Memorial Scholarship is to help undergraduate Institute members who plan to pursue careers in management consulting. Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in a college in the United States, Canada or Mexico with an accredited industrial engineering program, major in industrial engineering and be active members. Preference is given to students who plan to work in management consulting. Students may not apply directly for this scholarship and must be nominated. The award is based on academic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the industrial engineering profession and financial need. Minimum 3.4 GPA required.

The purpose of the ACI Scholarship is to support students who are interested in studying concrete. Applicants must be nominated by a faculty member who is also a member of ACI in order to receive an application. Students must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students during the award year who plan to study in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants must be proficient in the English language. Students should submit applications via email.

The purpose of the Ed Johnson Memorial Scholarship is to support graduating varsity boy's basketball players of Nebraska in pursuing post-secondary education. Selection is primarily based on demonstration of academic achievement, leadership potential, sportsmanship and citizenship. Students must be nominated by an NCA coach.

The purpose of the Charles T. Stoner Law Scholarship is to aid a female collegiate basketball player in her pursuit of a career in law. Applicants must be a senior, collegiate women's basketball player who plans on pursuing a career in law and must be nominated by their collegiate head coach.

The purpose of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship is to support Oklahoma high school seniors committed to attending an Oklahoma college or university. Applicants must be Oklahoma high school seniors committed to attending an Oklahoma college or university. Students must be nominated for this scholarship by teachers, administrators or any adult not related to the student. Selection is based on the student’s leadership roles, civic or community involvement, academic achievement and knowledge of and pride for Oklahoma.

The purpose of the Shred Nations Scholarship Program is to support students pursuing a higher education for students interested in business and environmental responsibility. Applicants must be interested in making future contributions to their community in business, environmental studies or the shredding and recycling industry. Students must be pursuing a degree at an accredited college, university or trade school and either currently be an enrolled college student or be a graduating senior in high school. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, receive a nomination from an NAID member company employee or owner and must not be employees or immediate/extended family members of employees of Shred Nations. Students seeking a career in the secure destruction industry will receive priority. Applicants must write an essay as part of their application.

The purpose of the Graduate Fellowship for STEM Diversity is to increase the number of American citizens with graduate degrees in the physical sciences and related engineering fields, emphasizing recruitment of a diverse applicant pool. Applicants must be graduate students in physical science, U.S. citizens, available to accept two summers of paid internship with a government agency and must not already possess a doctoral degree. Students may also be nominated directly by a NPSC member employer.

The purpose of the USBC Youth Ambassador of the Year is to recognize contributions to the sport of bowling, academic achievement and community service. Students must be USBC Youth members who will be 18 years of age or older by August 1 of the year of their selection. They must also be high school seniors and be nominated by a USBC member. The award is given to one male and one female student each year.

The purpose of the United Parcel Service Scholarship for Female Students is to help female undergraduate engineering students. Applicants must be full-time female students at an institution in the United States, Canada or Mexico with an accredited industrial engineering program, majoring in industrial engineering or its equivalent and active members. Students may not apply directly for this scholarship and must be nominated. The award is based on academic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the industrial engineering profession and financial need. Applicants must have a minimum 3.4 GPA.

The purpose of the Paul and Vera Meerdink Award is to assist students in Erie County. Applicants must be Corry Area High School graduating seniors with demonstrated outstanding citizenship and moral character. Students must be nominated by a family member, or someone from the school or community who knows the student well.

The purpose of the Jackson Laboratory Scholarship is to reward students pursuing a college education in research or medical fields. Applicants must reside in Connecticut, Maine or in Sacramento County, California and must be pursuing a degree in biomedicine. Students must receive a nomination from a teacher and have financial need or be first-generation college students. Students must also have a 3.5 GPA and be graduating high school seniors.

The purpose of the Jones-Laurence Award for Scholastic Achievement is to improve scholarship among active Sigma Alpha Epsilon members. Applicants must be brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon in good standing and either must have junior standing or higher or must be pursuing full-time graduate study. This award is merit-based, with an emphasis on combining academic excellence, leadership, service and campus involvement. Applicants are nominated by their chapters and have a minimum 3.8 GPA.

The purpose of the AFPE Gateway to Research Scholarship is to encourage students to pursue a career in pharmacological research. Students must be a U.S. citizen and must be enrolled in a full-time ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy program. Applicants must be enrolled for at least one full academic year after receiving the award and must be nominated and mentored by a faculty member. Students may not be enrolled in a joint Pharm.D./Ph.D. program.

The purpose of the Predoctoral Fellowship Program is to support advanced graduate research in the history, theory and criticism of art, architecture and urbanism. Applicants for predoctoral fellowships must be nominated by the chair of the graduate department of art history or other appropriate departments. Applicants must have completed all departmental requirements, including course work, residency and general and preliminary examinations. Certification in two languages other than English is required. Applicants should submit nomination forms, supporting letters from two individuals and writing samples. There are various fellowships. The David E. Finley Fellowship requires applicants have a significant interest in curatorial work. The Paul Mellon Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in Western art. The Samuel H. Kress Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in European art on a topic before the early nineteenth century. The Wyeth Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation that concerns aspects of art of the United States, including native and pre-Revolutionary America. The Ittleson Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in the visual arts in a field other than Western art. The Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in cross-cultural studies or in a field other than Western art through the twentieth century. The Robert H. and Clarice Smith Fellowship is for research on Northern European art between 1400 and 1700, intended for the advancement or completion of either a doctoral dissertation or a resulting publication. The Chester Dale Fellowships are for the advancement or completion of a doctoral dissertation in any area of Western art, with a preference for modern and contemporary topics. The Center offers a Paul Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship for recipients of the David E. Finley, Paul Mellon, Samuel H. Kress, Wyeth, Ittleson, Andrew W. Mellon and two-year Chester Dale fellowships if the dissertation has been accepted by June 1 of the residence year. Several candidates for each fellowship will be invited to Washington for interviews.

The purpose of the Donald F. and Mildred Topp Othmer Scholarships is to support AIChE student members. Applicants must be members of an AIChE Student Chapter or Chemical Engineering Club. Applicants must be nominated by their student chapter advisors. Awards are presented on the basis of academic achievement and involvement in student chapter activities.

The purpose of the Davidson Fellows Scholarships is to reward young people for their works in mathematics, science, technology, music, literature, philosophy or "outside the box." Applicants must be 18 or younger and be able to attend the awards reception in Washington, DC. In addition to the monetary award, the institute will pay for travel and lodging expenses. Three nominator forms, three copies of a 15-minute DVD and additional materials are required.

The purpose of the Allan Jerome Burry Scholarship is to support students in ministry or chaplaincy programs who are members of the United Methodist Church. Applicants must be college undergraduates who show evidence of financial need, leadership qualities, academic excellence and church participation. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must have been active members of the United Methodist Church for at least three years and be nominated by the campus chaplain or minister.

The purpose of the Lisa Zaken Award For Excellence is to reward excellence in scholarly activities and leadership related to the industrial engineering profession on campus. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students with at least one year remaining, have a 3.0 or higher GPA, major in industrial engineering and be active members who have been leaders in IIE. Students may not apply directly for this scholarship and must be nominated. The award is based on academic ability and leadership related to industrial engineering.
