About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Nancy Lorraine Jensen Memorial Scholarship is to support female students who are pursuing higher education in chemistry, physics or engineering. Applicants must be females who are between the ages of 17 and 35 at the time of application submission. They must be members, the daughters of members or the granddaughters of members of Sons of Norway. They must be full-time undergraduates who have completed at least one semester of coursework within their declared major and must be majoring in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering. They must have an ACT score of 26 or higher or an SAT score of 1800 or higher (including a math score of 600 or higher). Selection is based on academic potential, stated career goals and recommendations.

About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Air Force ROTC High School Scholarship Program is to help students with financial need who are also interested in joining the Air Force in order to pay for college. Applicants must pass the physical fitness assessment and demonstrate academic achievement or outstanding leadership skills. There are three types of awards: one that pays full tuition, most fees and a book allowance, one that pays tuition and fees up to $18,000 and a book allowance and one that pays the equivalent of in-state tuition and a book allowance. In return for the scholarship, recipients must serve in the Air Force. Applicants must have minimum ACT score of 24 or minimum SAT score of 1100. GPA minimum requirement is 3.0.
