19 Scholarships for Mongolian Students (November 2023)

The purpose of the Asian American / Pacific Islander Scholarship is to encourage Asian American or Pacific Islander students. Applicants must be current undergraduates or high school seniors who are Asian Americans or Pacific Islanders. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents.

The purpose of the HANA Scholarship is to support students in the United Methodist Church who are of Hispanic, Asian, Native American or Pacific Island parentage. Applicants must be in at least their junior year of college or in graduate school, and they must have at least a 2.85 GPA. They must have been members of the United Methodist Church for at least three years. Students must plan to take on leadership roles in their church and ethnic communities.

The purpose of the LITA/OCLC Minority Scholarship in Library and Information Technology is to support minority students pursuing an advanced degree in library science. Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens and qualified members of a principal minority group (American Indian or Alaskan Native, Asian or Pacific Islander, African-American or Hispanic) who are enrolled in an accredited master of library science program. Students must demonstrate a commitment to automated system usage in libraries and provide a statement of their library experience and anticipated contribution to the field. Applicants must not have earned more than 12 credit hours towards their degree.

The purpose of the Atsuhiko Tateuchi Memorial Scholarship is to provide financial assistance for hard-working students from the Pacific Rim states. Applicants must be high school seniors or undergraduate students from Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii or Alaska with demonstrated financial need. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to students with Japanese or other Asian ancestry.

The purpose of the PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarship is to aid minority communications students. Applicants must be of African-American, Latino, Asian, Native American, Alaska Native or Pacific Islander descent. They must be undergraduates of at least junior standing who are majoring in communications at an accredited four-year institution. They must be full-time students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a four-point scale. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

The purpose of the Core/OCLC Spectrum Scholarship in Library and Information Technology is to encourage students pursuing library sciences. Applicants must be qualified members of a principal minority group such as American Indian or Alaskan native, Asian or Pacific Islander, African American or Hispanic. Students must be U.S. or Canadian citizens. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited master of library science program and have earned fewer than 12 credit hours. Students must submit references, personal statement and academic transcripts along with the application.

The purpose of the CTA - California Teacher’s Association Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Scholarship is to help students who attend or are planning to attend Alder Graduate School of Education. Applicants must be members of CTA or dependent children of members. Students must be California residents and African American/Black American, Indian/Alaska, Native, Asian/Pacific Islander or Hispanic.
