3 Scholarships in Norway (April 2025)

The purpose of the General Heritage and Culture Grants is to preserve Norwegian heritage. Applicants may be individuals, groups or organizations dedicated to the preservation of Norwegian heritage. Selection is based on applicants' record or activities and adherence to the goals and objectives of the Sons of Norway Foundation.

The purpose of the Nancy Lorraine Jensen Memorial Scholarship is to support female students who are pursuing higher education in chemistry, physics or engineering. Applicants must be females who are between the ages of 17 and 35 at the time of application submission. They must be members, the daughters of members or the granddaughters of members of Sons of Norway. They must be full-time undergraduates who have completed at least one semester of coursework within their declared major and must be majoring in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering. They must have an ACT score of 26 or higher or an SAT score of 1800 or higher (including a math score of 600 or higher). Selection is based on academic potential, stated career goals and recommendations.

The purpose of the Scholarships to Oslo International Summer School is to give financial support to students who attend Oslo International Summer School. Applicants who are admitted to Oslo International Summer School and who are Sons of Norway members or children or grandchildren of current members are eligible. Membership must be in effect for one calendar year prior to application. Selection is based on financial need, essay, GPA and letters of recommendation. Extra consideration is given to students who are members of Sons of Norway.
