The purpose of the Marion Senior High School Memorial Scholarship Fund is to assist students in the Western Virginia area. Applicants must be graduating seniors from Marion Senior high school who enroll full-time in an accredited college or university. Students must pursue a degree in music, art, performing arts or education with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students must demonstrate academic capability, music, art abilities and financial need.

The purpose of the Rhoda Lubalin Art Scholarship Fund is to assist students in the Berkshire Taconic area. Applicants must be graduating seniors of Webutuck Central School who intend to pursue the study of visual arts at a college or other educational institution. Students must show evidence of creativity and originality in their artwork. Applicants must present a portfolio of work, entirely original, which may include independent projects completed outside the classroom.

The purpose of the Dwain and Polly Wright Educational Scholarship Fund is to assist students in the Greater Kansas City area. Applicants must be graduating seniors from Macon High School who have completed at least two English, language arts or vocational classes and have been accepted to attend a two- or four-year college, university and/or technical school to further their education.

The purpose of the Elaine Sirkin Forbes Scholarship Fund is to assist students in the Pittsburgh area. Applicants must attend high school in Allegheny County as graduating seniors and pursue a degree or studies in visual, performance or media arts. Students must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and plan to attend a 2-or 4-year college or university.

The purpose of the Predoctoral Fellowship Program is to support advanced graduate research in the history, theory and criticism of art, architecture and urbanism. Applicants for predoctoral fellowships must be nominated by the chair of the graduate department of art history or other appropriate departments. Applicants must have completed all departmental requirements, including course work, residency and general and preliminary examinations. Certification in two languages other than English is required. Applicants should submit nomination forms, supporting letters from two individuals and writing samples. There are various fellowships. The David E. Finley Fellowship requires applicants have a significant interest in curatorial work. The Paul Mellon Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in Western art. The Samuel H. Kress Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in European art on a topic before the early nineteenth century. The Wyeth Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation that concerns aspects of art of the United States, including native and pre-Revolutionary America. The Ittleson Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in the visual arts in a field other than Western art. The Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship is for the completion of a doctoral dissertation in cross-cultural studies or in a field other than Western art through the twentieth century. The Robert H. and Clarice Smith Fellowship is for research on Northern European art between 1400 and 1700, intended for the advancement or completion of either a doctoral dissertation or a resulting publication. The Chester Dale Fellowships are for the advancement or completion of a doctoral dissertation in any area of Western art, with a preference for modern and contemporary topics. The Center offers a Paul Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship for recipients of the David E. Finley, Paul Mellon, Samuel H. Kress, Wyeth, Ittleson, Andrew W. Mellon and two-year Chester Dale fellowships if the dissertation has been accepted by June 1 of the residence year. Several candidates for each fellowship will be invited to Washington for interviews.

The purpose of the Against The Grain Artistic Scholarship is to support Asian American students pursuing degrees in visual or performing arts. Applicants must be at least 25 percent Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity and citizens or national or legal permanent residents of the U.S. Students must be high school seniors or current college students enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. vocational, community or four-year college or university. Applicants must be pursuing majors in visual or performing arts and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students must demonstrate leadership abilities through community service, extracurricular or other activities.

The purpose of the AFSA/AAFSW Merit Awards is to recognize the academic and artistic achievements of high school seniors who are the children or dependents of Foreign Service employees. Applicants must be dependents of U.S. government Foreign Service employees who are members of AFSA or AAFSW. Students must be high school seniors with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Applicants can also submit an art entry under the categories of visual arts, musical arts, drama, dance or creative writing. Awards are based on GPA, SAT scores, a two-page essay, letters of recommendation and extra-curricular activities.

The purpose of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship is to reward college-bound high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate students and professional artists from Virginia. Graduate students can be either artists or art history majors. Professional artists must not be attending a degree program at the time of application or during the award period. Students and professionals must be legal residents of Virginia at the time of application and have lived in Virginia for 12 consecutive months.

The purpose of the Frank D. Bo Shrader Memorial Scholarship Fund is to assist students in the Western Virginia area. Applicants must be graduating seniors or graduates from Bath County high school living in Bath county. Students must attend a program, college, technical school in the vocational arts and desire to return to Bath County upon completion of those studies.

The purpose of the Donna Darovich Gridiron Scholarship is to support students who are residents of Texas. Applicants must be attending a college, university or junior college in Texas and must be preparing for a career in journalism. Students must take at least six academic hours a semester and have a minimum GPA of 2.25 at time of application and for the duration of the award. This scholarship recognizes various types of writing, including news, arts, lifestyle and people.

The purpose of the Ginger Siegel Kottwitz Theatre Arts Scholarship Fund of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation is to support students in Collin, Dallas and Denton counties. Applicants must be full-time Jewish undergraduate or graduate students who are majoring in theatre or musical theatre at either a four-year university or The Juilliard School. Students must be U.S. citizens or legal residents. Applicants must be from Collin, Dallas or Denton Counties.

The purpose of the Millers Electric Scholarship Fund is to support students who plan on attending James Rumsey Technical Institute. Applicants must be graduates of a Berkeley County high school or have a GED and plan to continue their education at James Rumsey Technical Institute. Students should be seeking certification or an associate's degree in electrical or electromechanical technology, heating/ventilation/air conditioning and refrigeration or culinary arts. Selection is based on financial need. Scholarship may be renewable for one additional year.

The purpose of the State of the Arts Scholarship is to encourage homeschooled students interested in studying visual or performing arts. Applicants must have been homeschooled through four years of high school and demonstrate significant experience in the arts. Students must graduate and begin an educational program in an art school, college or university. Selection will be based on the application, references, autobiography, homeschool transcript and artistic accomplishments to date plus a portfolio of 10 pages or less or a CD or DVD of 5 minutes or less.

The purpose of the Sam K. Oberhausen Memorial Scholarship is to support students who are graduates of Tell City High School who are pursuing a college education. Applicants must have a high interest in the arts and a strong GPA.

The purpose of the Alliance Recruitment Scholarship Program is to assist students pursuing a number of different fields. Applicants must be permanent residents of Australia, the U.S. or Canada and high school graduates currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited university seeking a degree in human resources, gaming, marketing, accounting, graphic web design, mobile application development, visual arts, interior design, real estate, engineering or medicine. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and finished at least one term of courses and have no gaps in their education.

The purpose of the Frederick V. Hoyet Sr. and Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund is to assist students in the Pittsburgh area. Applicants must attend high school at Penn-Trafford High School as graduating seniors and reside in Westmoreland County. Students must pursue a degree or studies in engineering, law, criminology, criminal justice, healthcare, biological sciences, fine arts, English/literature, humanities and environmental or conservation studies and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

The purpose of the Walter Blackburn Scholarship Fund is to support minority students in Marion County. Applicants must be residents of Marion County who plan to obtain a degree in architecture, construction management, design, fine art or performing arts and demonstrate financial need. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Selection is based on the strength of the overall application.

The purpose of the Thomas A. Nickle Scholarship is to support Ohio students interested in pursuing industrial arts education. Applicants must be residents of Wayne County in Ohio. Students must be graduating seniors or adults enrolled in a skills training program in industrial arts technology or related fields. Applicants must demonstrate Industrial Arts technology aptitude and financial need. Preference given to students focusing on precision machining technology.

The purpose of the Stewart Kavesh Scholarship Fund is to assist students in the Greater Kansas City area. Applicants must be students graduating from Redondo Union High School with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students must have participated with consistency and excellence in Redondo Union High School's performing arts activities.

The purpose of the James P. and Joy Y. Zana Family Scholarship is to reward students pursuing a career in fine arts. Applicants must be graduates of Grand Island High School.

The purpose of the Hans and Patty Helland Memorial Scholarship is to support Wisconsin students pursuing a post-secondary liberal arts education. Applicants must plan to pursue a post-secondary liberal arts education with a focus on English. Students must submit an essay or poem demonstrating their interest and talent. Applicants must submit the local scholarship application form, a financial need statement, career plan, resume, transcripts and two letters of recommendation.

The purpose of the Bernhard H. Singsen Scholarship is to support male California students pursuing careers in medicine, civil service or education. Applicants must be graduating male seniors from a San Luis Obispo County high school. Students must pursue a career in medicine, civil service or service or education at a four-year liberal arts college or university. Applicants must have a minimum 3.75 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

The purpose of the Eric Scott Langdon and Diana Monzeglio Memorial Scholarship Fund for Artists is to support graduating seniors from San Dieguito Academy and Canyon Crest Academy who are pursuing a career in the arts, music or dance. Preference will be given to students who need financial support to attend college and who excel in fine arts, dance or music.

The purpose of the Jane and Morgan Whitney Fellowship is to encourage students in the field of fine arts to use the museum as inspiration. Applicants must be in residence at The Met during the fellowship period. The one-year fellowships begin on September 1. Applicants must be Ph.D. candidates, postdoctoral researchers or senior scholars and must also submit a specific research proposal that makes use of the museum's collection. Fellowships are awarded based on funds and resource availability.

The purpose of the Rise Up Baking Scholarship is to encourage students pursuing a professional career in baking and pastry arts. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled to a baking and pastry arts program at a US-accredited post-secondary institution, college or university as a part-time or full-time first-year undergraduate student. Students must be legal citizens of the United States and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. An essay is required on a provided prompt.
