About This Scholarship

The purpose of the State of the Arts Scholarship is to encourage homeschooled students interested in studying visual or performing arts. Applicants must have been homeschooled through four years of high school and demonstrate significant experience in the arts. Students must graduate and begin an educational program in an art school, college or university. Selection will be based on the application, references, autobiography, homeschool transcript and artistic accomplishments to date plus a portfolio of 10 pages or less or a CD or DVD of 5 minutes or less.
