8 Scholarships for 1300 SAT Students (April 2025)

The purpose of the Tech High School Alumni Association/W.O. Cheney Merit Scholarship is to aid future college students who are planning to major in engineering, mathematics or one of the physical sciences. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Georgia residents and high school seniors who have been accepted at an accredited four-year postsecondary institution. They must be planning to major in mathematics, one of the physical sciences or engineering and must be full-time students who have a proven interest in community service. They must have an SAT composite (math and critical reading) score of 1300 or higher and must either be in the top 10 percent of their class or have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

The purpose of the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Academic All-State Scholarships is to reward Oklahoma students who have high academic achievement. Applicants must be high school seniors who are nominated by their school principals or superintendents. They must have an ACT score of 30 or higher or an SAT score of 1340 or higher or be a semi-finalist for a National Merit, National Achievement or National Hispanic Scholarship. An essay is required.

The purpose of the Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarship Program - Baccalaureate Scholarships is to support Texas 4-H members who are planning to pursue a bachelor's degree. Students must be high school seniors who have actively participated in a Texas 4-H program during the current year and at least two of the three previous years. They must have formally applied to a Texas college or university, and they must meet the school's admission requirements. Applicants must have a score of at least 1350 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT. Students must provide information about their 4-H achievements, financial need, community service participation and leadership skills.

The purpose of the Vasan Family Scholarship for Academic Excellence is to assist students in the Parkersburg area. Applicants must be graduating seniors from Parkersburg High School with a minimum 4.0 cumulative GPA. Students must have a minimum 32 ACT, 1420 SAT. Academic excellence and achievement are considered.

The purpose of the Regents Scholarship is to support students who are Hawaii residents with a record of outstanding academic achievement. Applicants must be outstanding freshmen who received a minimum 1340 SAT score or minimum 29 ACT score. Students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Applicants must be Hawaii residents.

The purpose of the 1693 Scholars Program is to help students who attend or are planning to attend William & Mary. Applicants must be students who are finalists and typically rank in the top 1% of their class. Students must have an SAT score of 1500 and higher.

The purpose of the Curwen-Guidry-Blackburn Scholarship Fund is to aid any senior youth bowler in Southern Bowling Congress member states in their education. Students must be high school seniors and currently bowling in a USBC Certified Youth League. Students must reside in a Southern Bowling Congress member state which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. Applicants must have bowled in a USBC Certified Youth League three of four years in high school and have bowled 75 percent of the league schedule. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and achieved an ACT composite score of 20 or SAT composite score of 1410.

The purpose of the Orange County Centennial Academic Scholarship is to support students from the Orange County area. Applicants must have attended an Orange County high school for a minimum of 3 years. A minimum GPA of 3.5 and a minimum SAT score of 1400 or ACT score of 31 are required. Students must intend on enrolling full-time at an accredited educational institution. Selection is primarily based on demonstration of leadership potential and community service.
