About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Against The Grain Artistic Scholarship is to support Asian American students pursuing degrees in visual or performing arts. Applicants must be at least 25 percent Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity and citizens or national or legal permanent residents of the U.S. Students must be high school seniors or current college students enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. vocational, community or four-year college or university. Applicants must be pursuing majors in visual or performing arts and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students must demonstrate leadership abilities through community service, extracurricular or other activities.
