The Vincent Chin Scholarship is a Journalism, need-based, and letter of recommendation-required award for full-time, Asian, Asian-American, Asian American, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Laotian, Taiwanese, Hmong, Cambodian, Burmese, Mongolian, Tibetan, Bhutanese, Singaporean, Maldivian, Bruneian, Bengali, Pacific Islander, college, post-graduate, and undergraduate students. The purpose of the Vincent Chin Scholarship is to support college students interested in pursuing careers in journalism.
The Asian American Journalists Association is providing the Vincent Chin Scholarship to full-time, Asian, Asian-American, Asian American, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Laotian, Taiwanese, Hmong, Cambodian, Burmese, Mongolian, Tibetan, Bhutanese, Singaporean, Maldivian, Bruneian, Bengali, Pacific Islander, college, post-graduate, and undergraduate students this year.
The Vincent Chin Scholarship is a need-based award given to students with demonstrated financial need.
Full-time, Asian, Asian-American, Asian American, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Laotian, Taiwanese, Hmong, Cambodian, Burmese, Mongolian, Tibetan, Bhutanese, Singaporean, Maldivian, Bruneian, Bengali, Pacific Islander, college, post-graduate, and undergraduate students are eligible to apply for the Vincent Chin Scholarship.
