4 Dental Hygiene Scholarships (December 2025)

The purpose of the ADEA/Sigma Phi Alpha Linda Devore Scholarship is to aid allied dental education students. Applicants must be members of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and be enrolled in a dental hygiene, dental education or public health degree program. They must be in good academic standing and demonstrate leadership in dental education or health care. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

The purpose of the ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarships for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers is to encourage dental hygiene students who are pursuing education beyond an associate degree and who have an interest in academic careers. Applicants must be enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program or graduate degree program in dental hygiene at an ADEA member institution. Students must show a commitment to pursuing an academic career in dental hygiene and be an ADEA individual member.

The purpose of the Platinum Educational Group EMS, Nursing, and Allied Health Scholarships Program is to assist students in EMS, nursing or allied health programs. Applicants must be enrolled in a certificate or undergraduate EMS, nursing or allied health program at the time of awards distribution on August 3. Allied Health programs include anesthesia technician, dental assistant, dental hygiene, diagnostic medical sonographer, medical assistant, medical lab technologist, occupational therapy assistant, ophthalmic medical technician, patient care technician, pharmacy technician, phlebotomy, radiography/radiological technology, respiratory care/therapy, surgical assistant, surgical technology, and veterinary technician. Students must complete the online application form and post a photograph or selfie that includes the hashtags #PlatinumEdScholarships and #FutureHealthcareProvider on any of their social media platforms.

The purpose of the Charles R. Morris Student Research Award is to support students who are interested in studying OMFR research. Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in an accredited dental or dental hygiene program, complete a project pertaining to oral and maxillofacial radiology and submit a complete manuscript. Students must submit online to gwilliam@iupui.edu. Selection is based on the strength of the overall application.
