10 Environmental Studies Scholarships (April 2026)

The purpose of the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Scholarship is to assist students in the Fox Valley Region. Applicants must be students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year, or postgraduate students of a Wisconsin college or university. Students must be pursuing a degree in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design/architecture, botany, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental studies, city planning, land management or other related studies.

The purpose of the Theodore Gordon Flyfishers Inc. Founders Fund Scholarship is to support a student who excels in the environmental field at one of the member institutions of the consortium. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, undergraduate students with senior standing enrolled full-time or graduate students enrolled full-time. Students must major in an area of environmental studies such as, but not limited to, ecology, hydrology, conservation biology, natural resource management, zoology or environmental law and policy. A list of member institutions is online. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA in environmental conservation coursework and a minimum 3.0 overall.

The purpose of the Shred Nations Scholarship Program is to support students pursuing a higher education for students interested in business and environmental responsibility. Applicants must be interested in making future contributions to their community in business, environmental studies or the shredding and recycling industry. Students must be pursuing a degree at an accredited college, university or trade school and either currently be an enrolled college student or be a graduating senior in high school. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, receive a nomination from an NAID member company employee or owner and must not be employees or immediate/extended family members of employees of Shred Nations. Students seeking a career in the secure destruction industry will receive priority. Applicants must write an essay as part of their application.

The purpose of the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Irene Straus Scholarship is to assist students in the Fox Valley Region. Applicants must be students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year or postgraduate students of a Wisconsin college or university. Students must be pursuing a degree in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design/architecture, botany, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental studies, city planning, land management or other related studies.

The purpose of the Blades of Green Scholarship Fund is to reward students seeking a degree in environmental related fields. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate level students attending an institution of higher learning full-time and must be pursuing a degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, environmental studies, plant sciences, botany, green technology or a related field. Applicants will need to submit a 350-500 word letter of intent describing desired career plans after graduation and what inspired you to pursue this career path.

The purpose of the Freehold Soil Conservation District Scholarship is to support college juniors and seniors majoring in the conservation of natural resources. Applicants must be residents of Middlesex or Monmouth County, New Jersey, entering the junior or senior year in the fall. Students must major in an area related to conservation of natural resources such as agriculture; forestry; conservation; environmental or soil science; environmental studies, education or policy; resource management or geology.

The purpose of the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Myrtle B. Ogilvie Scholarship is to assist students in the Fox Valley Region. Applicants must be college students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Students must be pursuing the study of horticulture, floriculture, landscape design/architecture, botany, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental studies, city planning, land management or related studies at a two- or four-year college, university, or technical school located within the State of Wisconsin.

The purpose of the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Della H. Balousek Scholarship is to assist students in the Fox Valley Region. Applicants must be students entering their sophomore, junior, senior, or postgraduate students of a Wisconsin college or university. Students must be pursuing a degree in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design/architecture, botany, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental studies, city planning, land management or other related studies.

The purpose of the Maybury Scholarship is to support students from Berrien County, Michigan. Applicants must be graduating seniors from high schools in Bridgman, Buchanan, Galien, Harbert, Lakeside, New Buffalo, Sawyer, Three Oaks or Union Pier or adults returning to education who reside in Bridgman, Buchanan, Galien, Harbert, Lakeside, New Buffalo, Sawyer, Three Oaks or Union Pier. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be pursuing careers in trades, nursing, environmental studies or in the medical technician fields. Preference will be given to applicants who are current or past graduates of River Valley High School.

The purpose of the B.O.G. Pest Control Scholarship Fund is to support students pursuing environmental education. Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in an environmental-related field including chemistry, chemical engineering, biology and environmental studies. Students must include a letter of intent describing their career path along with their other application materials.
