8 Nutrition Scholarships (December 2025)

The purpose of the Kent Nutrition Group Inc. FFA Scholarship is to support FFA members working toward a four-year degree in animal science, agriculture or a related field. Applicants must be working toward a degree in one of the following fields: animal science, animal nutrition, dairy science, poultry science, equine/equestrian science, agriculture, agricultural science, agricultural business management, economics, finance or marketing and sales. Applicants must attend college in and be residents of one of the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia or West Virginia. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

The purpose of the Murse World Scholarship is to assist students pursuing medical education. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university with the intent of pursuing a degree in a medical field including therapy, nursing, dentistry and nutrition. Students must be U.S. citizens or legal residents with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must write an original essay.

The purpose of the Louise Gartner Memorial Scholarship Fund of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation is to support students in Collin, Dallas and Denton counties. Applicants must be full-time college students and U.S. citizens or legal residents. Students must major or minor in nutrition, holistic medicine, or closely related nutrition-based program. Applicants must also be from Collin, Dallas or Denton Counties.

The purpose of the Nancy Curry Scholarship is to support students wishing to enter the school foodservice industry. Applicants must be School Nutrition Association members for at least one year and be enrolled in a school foodservice-related program at an educational institution. Children of SNA members are not eligible to apply. Applicants must be currently employed in school food service.

The purpose of the Margaret Jerome Sampson Scholarship is to aid Phi Upsilon Omicron members who are working toward bachelor's degrees in family and consumer sciences. Applicants must be Phi Upsilon Omicron (Phi U) members. They must be full-time students who are enrolled in a family and consumer sciences degree program at the baccalaureate level. Preference will be given to applicants who are majoring in food and nutrition or dietetics. Selection is based on academic merit, participation in Phi U and stated career goals.

The purpose of the Clinton E. Missler Agri-Scholarship is to support Ohio students pursuing agricultural studies. Applicants must be residents of Wayne County, Ohio. Students must demonstrate academic ability, good citizenship and character and financial need. Applicants must enroll in a post-secondary institution to pursue the study of agriculture, farm economics, animal husbandry, animal nutrition and research or soil and water conservation.

The purpose of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Student Scholarship is to encourage students in a dietetic program. Applicants should be American Dietetic Association members and enrolled in their junior or senior year of a baccalaureate or coordinated program in dietetics or the second year of study in a dietetic technician program, a dietetic internship program or a graduate program. One application form is used for all ADAF scholarships.

The purpose of the Martha J. Branch Scholarship is to support African American students majoring in fitness or nutrition. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time at the undergraduate level or incoming freshman who have accepted admission with plans of enrolling full time planning to declare a fitness or nutrition-related major. Students must be of African-African American descent with a minimum 3.0 GPA. An essay on a provided prompt is required to be submitted.
