7 Occupational Therapy Scholarships (December 2025)

The purpose of the Platinum Educational Group EMS, Nursing, and Allied Health Scholarships Program is to assist students in EMS, nursing or allied health programs. Applicants must be enrolled in a certificate or undergraduate EMS, nursing or allied health program at the time of awards distribution on August 3. Allied Health programs include anesthesia technician, dental assistant, dental hygiene, diagnostic medical sonographer, medical assistant, medical lab technologist, occupational therapy assistant, ophthalmic medical technician, patient care technician, pharmacy technician, phlebotomy, radiography/radiological technology, respiratory care/therapy, surgical assistant, surgical technology, and veterinary technician. Students must complete the online application form and post a photograph or selfie that includes the hashtags #PlatinumEdScholarships and #FutureHealthcareProvider on any of their social media platforms.

The purpose of the Forever Friends Diana Lain Hughes Scholarship is to assist students in the Greater Kansas City area. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or former graduates of the Shawnee Mission School District who demonstrate an interest in a career in teaching, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy or speech-language pathology.

The purpose of the Security Benefit Strength in Education Scholarship is to support Oklahoma high school seniors pursuing a degree within the K-12 education field. Applicants must be Oklahoma high school seniors planning to pursue a degree within the K-12 education field. Students must be pursuing a certified degree in education or directly support the education system which includes but is not limited to the following: teaching, school administration, counseling, librarian, child psychology, occupational therapy (speech, learning disabilities, etc.), dietician or music instruction.

The purpose of the Ann Wade Strength in Education Scholarship is to support Oklahoma high school seniors pursuing a degree within the K-12 education field. Applicants must be Oklahoma high school seniors planning to pursue a degree within the K-12 education field. Students must be pursuing a certified degree in education or directly support the education system which includes but is not limited to the following: teaching, school administration, counseling, librarian, child psychology, occupational therapy (speech, learning disabilities, etc.), dietician or music instruction.

The purpose of the AMBUCS Scholars is to provide more opportunities for the disabled by encouraging students to become therapists. Students must be US citizens accepted in a graduate-level program that is accredited by the appropriate therapy profession authority in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology or hearing audiology. Assistant or undergraduate programs are not eligible. Awards are based on financial need, commitment to local community, character for compassion and integrity and career objectives.

The purpose of the Down Syndrome Aim High Scholarship is to support students from the Greater Capital Region of New York. Applicants must be interested in assisting those with Down Syndrome. Students must be pursuing education and a career in the field of special education or speech, physical or occupational therapy.

The purpose of the Kappa Delta Phi is to encourage students who are pursuing post-baccalaureate degrees in occupational therapy. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in an AOTA accredited occupational therapy program. Students must have completed at least one year of occupational therapy specific course work. Priority is given to students of Arizona, California, Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Ohio.
