6 Pre-Med Scholarships (May 2026)

The purpose of the Dr. John and Mae Benjamin Scholarship is to support graduating seniors from the Glendale Unified School District who is accepted into a medical or pre-med program. Applicants must provide a personal essay on the topic of medicine.

The purpose of the Infographic Scholarship Contest is to support students interested in careers as eye care professionals. Applicants must be Florida residents who are enrolled in a pre-med program in a four-year college with intentions to pursue an advanced degree in medicine. Students must submit an infographic on provided topics.

The purpose of the Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship is to support undergraduate students pursuing medical education. Applicants must be a high school senior or graduate enrolling in an undergraduate program as a full-time student at a college or university in the U.S. Students must be applying for or accepted to a program in biomedical engineering or pre-med studies. Applicants must have participated for a minimum of one year as a team member on a FIRST LEGO league, FIRST Tech Challenge or FIRST Robotics competition team.

The purpose of the Healthcare Professional Scholarship is to support students who intend to earn professional healthcare licensure. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate or graduate program with the intent to earn a degree that helps them qualify for professional healthcare licensure. Students must be at least 18 years of age or older and U.S. citizens. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and be enrolled in any of the following majors: medical and pre-med programs, pharmacy and pre-pharmacy programs, nursing and nurse practitioner programs or physician assistant programs. An essay on a provided prompt is required.

The purpose of the BeMo® and SortSmart® Diversity Advocacy Scholarship is to support pre-med and medical students with the cost of their education. Applicants must be full-time pre-medical (any undergraduate discipline) or medical students in good academic standing. Students must complete a survey and short 15 question test as part of the application process.

The purpose of the Evans Health Fund No. 2 is to assist students in the Pittsburgh area. Applicants must attend Penns Manor, Purchase Line or Marion Center high school as a graduating senior and pursue a degree or studies in health science. Students must pursue nursing, practical nursing, pre-med, pre-dentistry, speech therapy, health education and music therapy and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR 2-or 4-year college or university.
