7 Scholarships in Los Angeles County, CA (December 2025)

The purpose of the Ebell/Flint Scholarship is to support students attending a Los Angeles County college or university. Applicants must have an excellent academic record and must demonstrate financial need. Students must be a permanent resident of Los Angeles County and enrolled full-time as an undergraduate at an accredited Los Angeles County college or university. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.25 and demonstrate involvement in community service.

The purpose of the Orange County Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce Foundation (OCCACCF) Scholarship is to encourage successful students of Chinese descent to continue their education. Applicants must be a graduating senior from an Orange County or Los Angeles County school and have been admitted to a community college, college or university. Students must also have at least one parent of Chinese descent, have a minimum 3.5 GPA (non-weighted) and a SAT of 1200 or ACT of 27. Applicants must prove financial need.

The purpose of the Preferred Bank Scholarship is to support lower-income students youth with their higher education expenses. Applicants must be high school seniors who reside in Los Angeles County, Orange County or San Francisco, California or Flushing, Queens, New York. Students must plan to attend a U.S. accredited 4-year college, university or community college as a 1st year, full-time student and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must have a household income at or below the low-income level.

The purpose of the Charles N. Fisher Memorial Scholarship is to assist ham radio operators in furthering their educations. Applicants must have any class of ham radio license, be residents of the ARRL Southwestern Division (Arizona, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego or Santa Barbara), attend a regionally-accredited college or university and study electronics, communications or a related field.

The purpose of the Bank of the Sierra Scholarship Program is to support economically-challenged students fulfilling their dreams of obtaining a higher education. Applicants must be current high school seniors who reside in the following counties in California: Fresno, Kern, Kings, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Tulare or the Santa Clarita area of Los Angeles County. Students must plan to attend a U.S. accredited 4-year college, university or community college and will be enrolling as freshmen. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and have a household income at or below the low-income level.

The purpose of the Royal Business Bank Scholarship Program is to support students from economically-challenged background as they seek a college education. Applicants must be high school seniors who reside in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, Clark County-Nevada, New York County, King County, Queens County or Richmond County. Students must plan to attend a U.S. accredited four-year college or university or a California/Nevada/New York community college as a first-year student in the fall. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Applicants must have a household income at or below the county low-income level.

The purpose of the Mega Bank Scholarship is to support lower-income students to pursue higher education. Applicants must be high school seniors residing in Los Angeles County or Orange County, California with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who are enrolling as a first-year student at an accredited four-year institution in California. Students must have a household income at or below the county low-income level. There are no ethnicity requirements.
