6 Scholarships in Minnehaha County, SD (December 2025)

The purpose of the Sally Bertiner Meyer Scholarship is to assist students in the Sioux Falls area. Applicants must be high school seniors who attend Minnehaha County high school and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students must plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university.

The purpose of the Junior League of Sioux Falls Scholarship is to assist students in the Sioux Falls area. Applicants must be female graduating seniors from an accredited high school or a home school program who are residents of Minnehaha or Lincoln Counties and plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, vocational school, or technical school. Students must have a minimum ACT score of 23 or a minimum SAT score of 1060.

The purpose of the Kiwanis Club of Sioux Falls Scholarship is to assist students in the Sioux Falls area. Applicants must be graduating seniors from Minnehaha or Lincoln County high schools who plan to attend a South Dakota college, university, community college, or vocational or technical school. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, ACT score of 21 and financial need. Preference will be given to applicants who are children, grandchildren, or stepchildren of Sioux Falls Kiwanis Club members.

The purpose of the Ralph and Doris Wallin Scholarship is to assist students in the Sioux Falls area. Applicants must be residents of Minnehaha or Lincoln County who are 25 years old or younger and are enrolling for the first time at an accredited vocational or technical institution in South Dakota or within 250 miles of Sioux Falls. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

The purpose of the Mark Bielen Scholarship is to assist students in the Sioux Falls area. Applicants must be graduating seniors from an accredited high school in Minnehaha or Lincoln County with demonstrated financial need who plan to attend an accredited college or university or vocational or technical school. Students must participate in school and community affairs, and be motivated to pursue goals.

The purpose of the Rush Family Scholarship is to assist students in the Sioux Falls area. Applicants must be graduating seniors of any South Dakota high school who are children of full-time employees of North American Truck and Trailer, Inc. or graduating seniors from Lincoln, Minnehaha, Turner or McCook Counties. Students must plan to pursue a degree in business, teaching or fields related to transportation and must show records of participation in school activities, volunteerism and employment.
