8 Scholarships in Richmond, City of County, VA (December 2025)

The purpose of the Virginia Randolph Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be graduating seniors from public high schools in Henrico County who plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year community college, college or university, vocational or technical institution the following academic year. Students must demonstrate financial need.

The purpose of the Georgienne B. Laws Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be graduating seniors from Mathews County public schools who plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year community college, college or university the following academic year. Students must demonstrate financial need.

The purpose of the Mary Davidson Bryan Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be graduating seniors who are residents of Bedford County or Bedford City and attend Bedford County public schools, or residents of Rockbridge County or Lexington City and attend Rockbridge County high schools. Students must plan to enroll in an accredited four-year college or university the following academic year. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic work, financial need, strong participation in school activities and community service, and a strong desire to attend college.

The purpose of the Amanda Lynn Seeley Memorial Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be graduating seniors of Prince George, Southampton, Surry or Sussex County public or private schools who plan to enroll in an accredited four-year college or university the following academic year. Students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and demonstrate outstanding commitment to academics, character, leadership, service, and his/her faith-based community.

The purpose of the John H. Wright Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be graduating seniors or high school graduates or adult students who are residents of Goochland, Louisa, Hanover, Powhatan, Cumberland, or Fluvanna County. Students must plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year community college, college or university, or vocational school. Applicants must be planning a course of study relating in some manner to agriculture, farming, or stewardship of the land.

The purpose of the J. Martin Diggs Memorial Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be graduating seniors from Mathews County or Gloucester County public schools who plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university the following academic year.

The purpose of the Rappahannock Industrial Academy Alumni Association Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be African-American graduating high school seniors residing in Essex, King and Queen or Middlesex County who plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university the following academic year. Students must demonstrate financial need.

The purpose of the Heather Dayton Memorial Scholarship is to assist students in the Richmond region. Applicants must be graduating seniors of Native American descent who plan to enroll in an accredited four-year college or university the following academic year. Preference will be given to students attending King William High School in King William, VA; New Kent High School, in New Kent, VA; Central High School in King and Queen County, VA; or Charles City High School in Charles City, VA.
