About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Mortin Scholarship is to help deserving active members of Triangle Fraternity in completing their education. Applicants must be active members of the Triangle Fraternity enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, have completed at least two full academic years of school and be undergraduates in the year following their application. Selection is based on financial need, grades and participation in campus and Triangle activities.

The purpose of the The Diane Dawson Memorial Scholarship is to support students in the Sacramento or Denver area who have a parent or legal guardian with terminal cancer or another terminal illness, or who have lost a parent to a terminal disease while the students were in high school. Applicants must be graduates of a high school in the greater Sacramento or Denver area with at least a 2.5 GPA. Students must provide medical verification of the parent or guardian's death or illness and two letters of recommendation. Applicants must write a one-page self-evaluation essay.
