The Boatwright, Poole and Thomas Families Endowment Fund Scholarship is a $1,000+ and renewable award in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more. Mr. John Thomas, a native of Montogomery county, Georgia, graduated from Savannah State University in 1963 following service to his country in the US Army. His wife, Mrs. Ann Boatwright-Thomas is a native of Wheeler County, Georgia and graduated Cum Laude in 1955. This fund is being established in memory of their parents, the Late Mrs. Lillie R. Poole of Mount Vernon, Georgia and the Late Mr. J.C. Boatwright and the Late Mrs. Annie Newkirk Boatwright of Glenwood, GA.
The Savannah State University is providing the Boatwright, Poole and Thomas Families Endowment Fund Scholarship to students this year.
