The purpose of the Carolyn Watson Opportunities Scholarship is to support rural Oklahoma students pursue post-secondary education. Applicants must be residents of rural Oklahoma counties as defined by the U.S. Census. Students must be graduating from Oklahoma high schools or be homeschooled students meet graduation requirements. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.25 or greater. Students should demonstrate exceptional ability in either arts and humanities, community leadership or science and engineering.
