About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Civic Federation 911 Scholarship is to support the children of Arlington County public safety employees and dispatchers in pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must be either graduating seniors or have deferred college enrollment for one year. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. Students must be the children of uniformed public safety employees or dispatchers who have worked for Arlington County for at least 10 years, retired, been permanently disabled on the job or killed in the line of duty.
