The purpose of the Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarship is to support students who are pursuing a medical-related degree. Applicants must be graduating seniors from high schools located in Blount, Loudon or Knox County, Tennessee or current college students who are graduates from high schools located in one of these counties or full-time college students enrolled in an accredited public, private or not-for-profit college or university in Tennessee. Students must be pursuing medical or healthcare-related fields of study. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Selection is based on financial need and special consideration is given to single parent families.
