👉 Please reference you found the scholarship on Scholarships That Work, this helps us get more scholarship providers to post here, thanks!

When applying for scholarships, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to provide sensitive personal information like your Social Security Number (SSN). If membership is required to apply, the membership should ALWAYS BE FREE. Basically, NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING. Those are scams! Some scholarships may ask for your address or proof of enrollment. That's fine, but always verify you're actually talking to the scholarship provider and not an imposter. Scams in scholarships are rampant, be careful! When clicking on the button to apply, you will leave Scholarships That Work and go to the application page for that organization outside this site. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Graduate Scholarship?

The Graduate Scholarship is a $1,000+ and merit-based award for full-time, Indian, and Native Hawaiian students in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more. The AIEF program now offers competitive graduate scholarships* to eligible American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian students pursuing a Masters or Doctoral degree. Applications submitted by eligible graduate students each spring are reviewed by members who award the competitive grants. The scholarship is paid directly to each recipient’s college or university. Students must be enrolled between 6-18 credit hours so that the scholarship is accessible to both part time and full time graduate students. The level of scholarship funding is dependent on the number of hours enrolled in graduate studies. Students must have a GPA of 2.5 or above in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
