About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Irene Culver Collins and Louis Franklin Collins Scholarship is to support students who are graduates of Parkside High School in achieving their educational goals. Applicants must have completed a minimum of three Advanced Placement social studies courses and two additional AP courses at Parkside High School. Students must submit an official high school transcript with their AP test scores, a resume and three letters of recommendation. Applicants must turn in an essay answering the question: "If you could meet and talk with a 19th century historic figure, who would it be and why?"
