The Johnston-Aronoff History Scholarship is a Natural Sciences, $1,200+, and renewable award in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more. The Johnston-Aronoff History Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior History student, preferably with an emphasis in the study of California and/ or the Western United States. First preference is to a Native American student who has graduated from either a Humboldt County charter or high school. Preference also given to students pursuing a history-related (e.g., social sciences) teaching credential. Amounts and numbers of scholarships are estimates, dependent on funding.
