About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Kottis Family Award is to support members of the Daughters of Penelope and promote the ideals of Hellenism via the scholastic advancement of its members. Students must be women and have a legal guardian or member of their immediate family who has been a Daughter of Penelope or member of AHEPA for the past 24 months while maintaining good standing. If you are applying based on financial need, you will need to include the first two pages of your IRS and FAFSA forms with all social security numbers blacked out. Students are also asked to submit a recent, wallet-sized photo of themselves along with a one page statement summarizing their goals with regards to education and their career.
