About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Languages in Teacher Education Scholarships is to support students in Alberta interested in pursuing language education. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons and Alberta residents who are enrolled full-time in the last two years of a post-secondary Alberta teacher preparation program offered by an Alberta Faculty of Education. Students must intend to be a language teacher in Alberta schools following graduation. Selection is based on the strength of the overall application.
