About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Lowcountry Scholarship for Nontraditional Students is to assist students in the Coastal region of South Carolina. Applicants must be nontraditional students with GED or Certificate of Completion who did not matriculate directly from high school and are ineligible for state, federal and local financial aid. Students must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at a South Carolina accredited technical college, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must be permanent residents of Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, or Jasper counties.
