The purpose of the Mary Rohrscheib Teaching Scholarship is to encourage students who are the next generation of great teachers. Applicants must be current high school seniors, college students or graduate students who are legal residents of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and are enrolled in a two- to five-year post-secondary institution. Students must be in good overall academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to students from the Central Illinois area. An essay on a provided prompt is required to be submitted.
