The purpose of the Non-Traditional Student Scholarship is to support adult students in Iowa. Applicants must be non-traditional students beginning their education or returning to the classroom after an extended period of time. Students must be current members of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Son of the American Legion. Applicants must have paid dues for two years prior to and for the calendar year of their application. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application and financial need.
