There are three broad categories/selection criteria: Commitment to academic excellence, as demonstrated by a GPA of at least 3.5. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the ideas reflected in Professor Richard R. Kopp's book, Metaphor Therapy: Using Client-Generated Metaphors in Psychotherapy Examples, in the form of an essay, of how you have used client-generated metaphors as an intervention technique in psychotherapy and how, by helping clients identify and explore their own metaphors, you have been able to stimulate their positive growth and change.
