The purpose of the W. H. Howie McClennan Scholarship is to provide scholarships for the children of firefighters who died in the line of duty. Applicants must be the children (natural or legally-adopted) of firefighters who died in the line of duty. Applicant's parent must have been a member in good standing of the International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO/CLC at time of death. Selection is based on financial need, academic record and promise.
