The purpose of the West Virginia Wing - Civil Air Patrol Cadet Scholarship Fund is to support students from Eastern West Virginia. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior from either a public or private Berkeley, Jefferson or Morgan high school or homeschool who have at least a 2.5 GPA. Students must have a commendation from their unit commander along with the leadership skills proven by earning the CAP Amelia Earhart award or higher. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, university or technical school offering a certificate or program of at least one year.
