About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Youth Scholarship is to help students who plan to pursue a career in the technical aspects of broadcasting. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll in a technical school, college or university and should pursue studies leading to a career in broadcasting engineering or a related field. Preference is given to members of SBE, but any student may apply. Applicants should submit applications, transcripts, biographies and statements. Recipients must write a paper about broadcast engineering.
