About This Scholarship

The purpose of the ASDSO Senior Undergraduate Scholarship is to increase awareness of careers in dam safety. Applicants must be U.S. citizens who will be full-time seniors in the following school year in an accredited civil engineering program or a related field and show an interest in a career related to dam design, construction or operation. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA for the first three years of college, be recommended by their academic advisor and write an essay on what ASDSO is and why dam safety is important. Selection is based on academic achievement, financial need, work experience and activities and essay.
