About This Scholarship

The purpose of the AMS Graduate Fellowships is to attract students to prepare for careers in the meteorological, oceanic and hydrologic fields. Applicants must be entering their first year of graduate study the following year and plan to pursue advanced degrees in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences and have a minimum 3.25 GPA. Awards are based on undergraduate performance. References, transcripts and GRE scores may be sent under separate cover. References can be sent to dfernand@ametsoc.org.
