When applying for scholarships, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to provide sensitive personal information like your Social Security Number (SSN). If membership is required to apply, the membership should ALWAYS BE FREE. Basically, NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING. Those are scams! Some scholarships may ask for your address or proof of enrollment. That's fine, but always verify you're actually talking to the scholarship provider and not an imposter. Scams in scholarships are rampant, be careful! When clicking on the button to apply, you will leave Scholarships That Work and go to the application page for that organization outside this site. The attorneys at Berry Law Firm have the utmost respect for the sacrifices made by Americaโs Veterans and their families. We have long fought for the legal rights of Veterans, and we recognize the critical role that their families play in supporting the mission from home, both during and after service. With Veterans, Reservists, and National Guardsmen on our staff, we understand the unique challenges that come from military service at all stages. With that in mind, we established the Military Family Scholarship to provide additional support to Veterans and their families in their educational pursuits. The Military Family Scholarship is available to students who meet the scholarship eligibility requirements and come from a military home, are currently serving, or who are military Veterans. In a 750 โ 1,000 word essay, please discuss how the unique challenges of military life helped shape the person you have become. Whether the lessons came in the form of hardships and sacrifices or opportunities and lessons, let us know how being a part of the broader military community helped form your character, values, and passions.
