About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Bixby Optimist Club Scholarship is to support Bixby, Oklahoma students pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must be a Bixby High School student for a minimum of grades 9 through 12 with financial need. Students must also be a U.S. citizen, plan to attend an accredited college or university and plan to enroll as a full-time college student. Applicants must supply a detailed description of high school activities and honors and community services, two letters of recommendation, an official transcript, a cover letter and an application form. Students must describe financial need along with plans for continuing education.
