About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Arlington Gay and Lesbian Alliance Scholarship is to support graduating seniors from Arlington Public Schools who have participated in their school's Gay Straight Alliance in pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must be Gay Straight Alliance members or have documented achievements in support of Arlington Public Schools' policies of diversity, fairness and safety. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application. Students must submit grade transcripts, two letters of recommendation and an essay.
