The Dollie Yazzie Student Leadership Award Scholarship is a $1,000+, merit-based, essay-based, and renewable award for full-time students in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more. The Native American Alumni Chapter (NAAC) of Arizona State University recognizes ASU Native American student leaders through the NAAC Awards Program. Eligibility criteria for the Dollie Yazzie Student Leadership Award are: Must be enrolled full-time at any of ASU's campuses or ASU Online. Open to Undergraduate and Graduate students. Must be enrolled member of a federal or state recognized Indian tribe. Completed at least 4 semesters of college work. Demonstrates leadership both at school and in the community while maintaining academic excellence. The 2020-2021 Dollie Yazzie Student Leadership Award will be presented at the Virtual 26th Annual Josiah N. Moore Benefit Event. If selected, awardee must provide an acceptance video to be played at the virtual event and on social media. The recipient will receive a $1000 scholarship, which will be disbursed in the spring 2021 semester through ASU Financial Aid.
