The purpose of the William Randolph Hearst Scholarship is to support students from the Greater Capital Region of New York. Applicants must be accepted into ninth grade at one of the following Capital Region private high schools: Albany Academy, Albany Academy for Girls, Christian Brothers Academy, Darrow School, Doane Stuart School, Emma Willard School, Hoosac School, LaSalle Institute, Loudonville Christian School or Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs. Students must demonstrate financial need.
