The purpose of the Holdrege Firefighters Scholarship is to support high school graduates whose parent, step-parent or guardian is or was a member of the Holdrege Volunteer Fire Department (Nebraska). Also, students' parent, step-parent or guardian must have accrued ten years of active service within the Holdrege Volunteer Fire Department or have been a member if s/he died.
