About This Scholarship

The purpose of the International Teacher Education Scholarship Program is to assist international women teachers-in-training to complete their final year of training in the U.S. Applicants must be single women with no dependents, between 20 and 35 years of age. Eligibility is restricted to non-U.S. citizens living outside the U.S. Applicants must have received an undergraduate degree and be eligible to receive a master's degree. However, the program is not intended for doctoral students. Students must intend to enter the field of teaching or be engaged in the teaching profession.
