The Judy G. Stevenson Scholarship is a $3,000+, need-based, merit-based, and essay-based award in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more. The Judy G. Stevenson Scholarship was established by Judy Stevenson, a fondly remembered and cherished friend and member of the Board of Trustees at North Central College, to financially assist a non-traditional female undergraduate student. Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be female undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older; Applicants must have junior or senior status as of the Fall 2021 Semester; Applicants must have a cumulative 2.75 GPA or higher; Applicants must have financial need; Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time each semester; Applicants residing in DuPage, Will or Kane counties with a career objective in Business will be given preference, but all others are encouraged to apply. An essay is required Non-degree seeking students and students receiving tuition reimbursement from their employers are ineligible. The scholarship is not renewable. Supplemental Questions This scholarship is for female, undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. As of the FALL 2021 SEMESTER, will you be at least 25 years old? (If you will turn 25 years old during the 2021-22 academic year, please answer "Yes".) For the 2021-22 academic year, what will your enrollment be each semester? Is your cumulative GPA equal to or greater than 2.75? As a Continuing Student (currently attending North Central College), what will be your academic standing or classification at the start of the Fall 2021 Semester? During the 2021-22 academic year, will you be non-degree seeking or will you be eligible to receive tuition remission from North Central College? Please provide an essay (not more than one type-written page) outlining your work experience, family responsibilities, career objectives and a description of how you will personally contribute to your cost of education. Have you filed the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)? If you have U.S. Citizenship or are an Eligible Non-Citizen, then filing the 2021-22 FAFSA is required for this scholarship. (Please file your 2021-22 FAFSA as soon as possible using 2019 tax information.) Please pick the answer that best describes your status.
