The purpose of the Kao Kalia Yang Scholarship is to support low income Hmong American students in fulfilling their dreams of higher education. Applicants must be blood descendants of Hmong race or ethnically identified as Hmong American. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and have a household income at or below the federal/state/county low income level.
