About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Michigan Tuition Incentive Program is to encourage Michigan students to complete high school and seek higher education. Applicants must be upcoming high school graduates or GED recipients under the age of 20 and also must have received Medicaid for 24 months in a 36 month period after their 12th birthday. Qualifying students will receive an acceptance form, which must be returned to the Office of Scholarships and Grants to become eligible. The program covers tuition and mandatory fees for students pursuing an associate degree and up to $2,000 for studies in pursuit of a four-year degree.
