The purpose of the North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to North Carolina residents with financial need who are attending North Carolina colleges and universities. Students who meet the same criteria as the Federal Pell Grant and those with an Estimated Family Contribution of $5,000 or less are eligible for the scholarship.
